A new survey conducted by the Social Security Resource Center (SSRC) found that two-thirds of Americans aged 60 and older (63%) expect inflation to accelerate to 4% or higher in the next 12 months. Twenty-one percent (21%) of this group predict that the inflation rate will reach 8% or higher, which is much higher than today’s historical high.
