Tyson Foods recalls instant chicken products Due to possible Listeria contamination |

| Washington, July 3, 2021 -Tyson Foods Inc., a Dexter, Missouri company, is recalling approximately 8,492,832 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken products that may be contaminated with impurities Listeria, The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the United States Department of Agriculture announced today.
Frozen, fully cooked chicken products are produced between December 26, 2020 and April 13, 2021.List the products that need to be recalled Here. View tags Here. The recalled products bear the company number “EST. P-7089” on the product bag or in the USDA inspection mark. These items are shipped nationwide to retailers and institutions, including hospitals, nursing facilities, restaurants, schools, and the Ministry of Defense. On June 9, 2021, FSIS received notifications from two patients with listeriosis. FSIS worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state public health partners to determine that there is evidence Listeria Diseases of pre-cooked chicken produced by Tyson Foods Inc. The epidemiological survey identified three types of listeriosis between April 6, 2021 and June 5, 2021, including one death. |
