Due to undeclared allergens and brand errors, FSIS issued a public health alert on frozen wonton soup products

Washington, December 18, 2021 – The Food Safety and Inspection Service of the United States Department of Agriculture (FSIS) issued a public health alert on frozen chicken and vegetable wonton soup products due to undeclared allergens and mislabeling. This product may contain shrimp (a known allergen) and pork, neither of which is declared on the product label. FSIS issued this public health alert out of extreme caution to ensure that consumers who are allergic to shrimp know that they should not consume these products. There is no request for a recall because it is believed that these products are no longer available for purchase by consumers.
