Cube District Energy will be renamed Captis Energy

Fiera Infrastructure Inc. (“Fiera Infrastructure”) is the world’s leading mid-market direct infrastructure investor and Fiera Capital Corporation (Toronto Stock Exchange:FSZ) (“Fiera Capital”), today announced that it has acquired a 100% stake in Cube District Energy (“Cube”), the premier landfill gas power generation platform in the United States, from I Squared Capital.

Cube captures and reuses methane emitted from landfills to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide alternatives to fossil fuel resources, providing customers with dispatchable renewable energy. Cube owns and operates eight assets in the southeastern United States, all of which have signed long-term contracts with investment-grade counterparties. One facility supplies electricity, steam, and chilled water to a corporate entity, while the other seven assets provide electricity to major power companies.

After the transaction is completed, Cube will be renamed Captis Energy.
