First corporate expansion outside the western United States

Consumer Cellular, the most acclaimed wireless carrier, announced today that it will bring more than 300 full-time and part-time jobs to Oklahoma City in the coming months.

The average annual salary of a full-time employee is approximately US$54,000, and full insurance benefits are provided. Other benefits include flexible schedules and the option of working from home. Employees are also eligible for tuition reimbursement and other rewards.

The move to Oklahoma City marks the first time in the company’s 25-year history that it has expanded beyond its headquarters in Arizona or Oregon.
