United Nations, New York, June 6, 2020-The United Nations Global Compact Leaders Summit from June 15 to 16 will convene heads of state, chief executives of major companies, and United Nations leaders to tackle the global climate change crisis, known as Covid -19 The global pandemic, worsening social and economic inequality, and uncontrolled corruption in order to provide a road map for sustainable recovery.

Confirmed speakers include His Excellency Halimah Jacobs, President of Singapore; Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations; Amina J. Mohamed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations; Alok Sharma, Chairman of COP26; and Nigel Topping, British Senior Climate Champion ; UNEP Executive Director Inge Anderson; Michelle Bachelet, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights; International Trade Union Confederation Secretary-General Sharan Burrow and United Nations Global Compact CEO and Executive Director Sanda Ojiambo.

More than twenty CEOs including Accenture CEO Julie Sweet will speak; Natura &Co CEO Roberto Marques; Suphachai Chearavanont, Charoen Pokphand Group CEO; Schneider Electric CEO Jean-Pascale Tricoire, Enel CEO Francesco Starace and Scottish Power CEO Keith Anderson.
