Aqua’s Media plant is the first wastewater treatment plant in Pennsylvania to receive the third stage director award from Clean Water Partners
The Aqua Pennsylvania Sewage Treatment Plant in Upper Providence, Delaware County received the third stage director award from the Clean Water Partnership, a program developed by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and other organizations Sewage Utilities Global Optimization and Recognition Program to guide wastewater utilities to protect environmental water quality by optimizing system operations. The factory provides wastewater treatment services for the media area.
“Our media wastewater operations team is proud of the tremendous efforts they have made to participate in the self-assessment of the partnership and to earn director-level honors,” said Marc Lucca, president of Aqua Pennsylvania. “During the global pandemic, staff remain committed to handling while safely operating facilities.”
