Many times, when I share what we are doing-stick to a $70 grocery budget, avoid debt, choose to save and pay cash for something, parenting, etc., people will write immediately and tell me why they can’t do us What is being done.
The thing is this: I will not share what I do online, and expect everyone to do what we are doing. For you, foster care may not. You may be in a situation where a mortgage is a smarter idea than renting and saving cash. Maybe you live in an area where groceries are the most expensive, or you don’t have a store with a significant price cut.
If you see someone else doing something, and your first reaction is to list the reasons why you cannot do what they are doing, then I will challenge you not to say “I can’t do it.” Instead, ask yourself where the resistance comes from. Do some of you want to reduce grocery bills, get out of debt or pay cash for certain things or participate in foster care?
In this episode, we encourage you (and ourselves!) to stop saying “I can’t” and instead ask “What can I do?”
When discussing this, we became very practical. In addition, I said an awkward moment to Jessie in the radio interview that day. We discussed his fading hairline, talked about the book we were reading, and how we treated him and me differently. Things made a small attempt, I talk about my nails. Yes, it takes about 30 minutes. ????
In this plot:
[00:33] Today, let’s talk about removing “I can’t” from your glossary.
[01:21] But first, an embarrassing story about my recent radio interview.
[06:25] Thinking and talking are definitely skills that many women can prove. What about men?
[07:27] Why the husband should and shouldn’t ask the wife what he is thinking. ????
[08:19] The pressure on my nails saved my life this week.
[13:38] Please listen to the life-saving tips I set for Jesse this week.
[15:32] Jesse shared the routine to save her own life.
[17:51] I have been watching Pray mom Brooke McGlothlin.
[20:12] Jessie is reading Cross shadow By Andrew Huff.
[20:40] Don’t say “I can’t.”
[22:35] Why did the resistance to change become a statement of “I can’t”.
[24:24] If you want to run into a wall but have a desire, please challenge it.
[25:53] Think about what you can and cannot do.
[27:42] Is your answer really “I can’t” or “I don’t want to”?
[30:49] Maybe you won’t be able to accomplish that big thing, but it may be time to make some small changes.
