Although we have never actually had twins-either physically or through foster care-we have had two children for most of the past year and a half, so we thought we would share something about having twins or foster care The best advice and tips for the twins in this week’s podcast show.
The biggest thing we learned is that it takes time to establish a comfortable rhythm and routine (our experience is 4-6 weeks), so be patient and give yourself (and those around you) a lot of grace.

We also recommend finding creative ways to track things. Setting up different stations around your house (such as feeding stations and diaper changing stations) and using apps to track when each baby is breastfeeding, sleeping, changing diapers, taking medicine, etc. is really helpful when you don’t have enough sleep and When multiple babies need to be cared for—especially when one person is weak or has special needs.
