Last week’s $67 Kroger shopping trip (+ what we ate)

I was so excited about Kroger’s chicken and egg deal last week!

Lots of great markdowns too!

My best deal last week was stumbled upon canned pumpkin for $0.25/can! ! ! I buy enough to probably last a whole year – we’ll use it for pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, and maybe pumpkin waffles.

All in all, I spent $67 on groceries – we’ve stocked up on chicken and eggs for a few weeks + pumpkin for a year!

I made cheeseburger potato soup one night – using some potatoes I bought a few months ago!

i made some Homemade Cookies Go with soup.

We love this soup!

Cookies are also delicious!

Even Baby D ate several spoonfuls of soup – a bug win for him!

Another night we had potatoes, smoked sausage and carrots in your crock pot. I don’t use a recipe: I just chop and pour into a crock pot and cook until done.

It’s so delicious – and a hearty and frugal meal!

I made homemade rolls to go with crock pot dinners.

i used this recipe – This is new to me and it’s a huge winner!

These rolls are easy and quick to make – they turn out beautiful and soft and delicious!

One of my daily lunch salads.

It’s always full on Wednesday nights – we have multiple activities for multiple people in multiple locations, so I usually have dinner to go. Last week we made breakfast for dinner – make your own waffles + cheese scrambled eggs.

The girls got these mini waffle makers for Christmas and we’ve been loving using them!

We also had leftovers one night – it’s always the best! It clears the fridge, saves money, and I don’t have to cook!
