On the other hand, Amazon pushes its own content. Content on the Prime Video platform is more popular and therefore more likely to appear at the top of search results. The search function still works well, but if you want to watch something from other platforms, you may need to scroll a bit.
Amazon also pushes its own content on the Fire Stick homepage. Next to Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+, you may find native ads for “Jack Ryan” or “The Underground Railroad.” The goal is to get you to participate in Prime Video content more often, which can be a bit intrusive and annoying if this is not what you want to watch. But this does not affect the overall utility of the Fire TV Stick interface.

Roku and Fire Stick are comparable in price and streaming platform access. One is not much better than the other.
