Crystal’s $62 Kroger Shopping Trip (+ menu plan)

If you’re new here, I practice the Buy Ahead Principle — which means that what we buy each week is often for future weeks. We stock up on the best deals and markdowns each week and that means that we then have a variety of items from previous shopping trips to use to plan a menu from.

In addition to practicing the Buy Ahead PrincipleI Reverse Meal Plan. This means that I plan based upon what we have on hand plus what good sales/markdowns I found at the stores. (Read more about Reverse Meal-Planning here.)

Yay for a great sale on blueberries! You can freeze them to use in smoothies or muffins, too!

We’re having lots of simple meals this week because we have plans every evening except for Saturday night, so this sale on deli meat was perfect!

I was excited about the frozen pizza deal — $2.99 each with the digital coupon (you can buy up to 5 in one transaction at this price!)

The La Croix was $2.49 with the weekly digital coupon, the peppers were $2.49 for a 3-pack with the weekly digital coupon, the orange juice was $1.29 with the weekly digital coupon, the Crest toothpaste was $0.99 with the weekly digital coupon, apples and pears were $0.99/lb, and the toilet paper was $9.99 with the weekly digital coupon.
