Texas will pass strict new voting restrictions

Republicans in Texas are preparing to approve a new law that will tighten voting restrictions in the second most populous state in the United States. This is the party’s latest move to restrict voting across the country.

The new Texas law will severely crack down on mailing, driving, and Sunday voting-reflecting the voting restrictions introduced by other Republican-controlled states (including Florida and Georgia) this year.
