Ethereum and Ethiopia: New Twitter Meme Burst

What better way to give someone a slap than to provide a reason for ridicule in the form of a meme?

This is what Jack Dorsey did with his tweet “#eth(Ethiopian flag)”.

Twitter and its CEO must have seen the interesting side of this tweet “#eth”, and it even got the attention of the official Olympic accounts. He said, “It’s great to see Jack and the crypto community support #ETH athletes!”

Although Jack Dorsey finally posted “eth” on Twitter, it doesn’t mean that he is working for.

In fact, Dorsey’s tweets do not represent Ethereum, but Ethiopia. Ethiopia’s name is abbreviated as #eth, so it is accompanied by the flag of African countries.

Although Dorsey was only joking, or might actually express his support for Ethiopia, the troll soon figured out a way to laugh at this tweet, turning it into a creative explanation of Dorsey’s feelings for Ethereum.

Soon after, a fake tweet from “Vitalik Buterin” appeared “Why the hashtag #eth now displays the Ethiopian flag? It’s not funny @Jack.” The meme quickly reached the top of the thread.

Here are some cherries (memes) on the cake:

“There is no room in my heart”

Jack Dorsey has repeatedly declared that his only passion is for Bitcoin. In fact, he is a Bitcoin (BTC) extremist, so far he has repeatedly refused to buy ETH or any other altcoins. He also repeatedly confirmed his belief that Bitcoin will become the native currency of the Internet.

on the other hand

  • Although it is great to see Jack Dorsey finally soften his attitude towards Ethereum, it does not seem to happen anytime soon.
  • Jack Dorsey, please leave the maximization of Bitcoin to Michael Saylor.
