A possible “white hat hacker” used THORChain for USD 8 million and offered a 10% bounty

The cross-chain decentralized exchange THORChain suffered a multi-million-dollar hack for the second time in a few weeks, and 8 million U.S. dollars worth of ether was affected.

However, this attack appeared to be carried out by a white hat hacker, and THORChain announced that the perpetrator was demanding a 10% bounty. ETH will be suspended until the code is audited.
