Terrence spoke to the court emotionally and Say, “As we all know, my brother was murdered by Derek Chauvin. The facts in this case have been proved to rule out reasonable doubt. Three guilty verdicts have been issued. This situation does affect me and my family. Any family member who has experienced this situation, we are all part of the family fraternity. This is not one of the fraternities you like.”
Terrence continued to say to Derek Chavin: “I want to know from him, why? What are you thinking? When your knees are on my brother’s neck, what are you thinking about? When you Knowing that he no longer poses a threat, he was handcuffed. Why don’t you at least get up? Why are you staying there?
Terrence continued to recall his last conversation with his brother, and revealed that they planned to have a date with their daughters. Unfortunately, George Freud is no longer here to witness the realization of these plans.
“We seek the highest penalty on behalf of me and my family. We don’t want to see a slap on the wrist anymore. We have experienced this in my community and in my culture,” Terrance said.
He continued, “If the roles are swapped, it’s not impossible. It will always be opened and closed. We will go to jail for murdering someone. Therefore, we demand the same punishment for Derek Chauvin. “
