This is the third child of Ne-Yo and Crystal. They have shared their sons Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr. and Roman Alexander-Raj Smith. Ne-Yo shares his two older children, Madilyn Grace Smith and Mason Evan Smith, with his predecessor, Monyetta Shaw.
Before they became pregnant with their daughter Isabella, Nyo and Crystal faced a difficult dilemma in their marriage, and the choice of divorce was on the table. However, the couple believed that spending time together during the pandemic was one of the factors that led to their reconciliation.
