In the interview Tammy Roman, Mimi revealed that the turning point in her relationship with Ty was their engagement. Mimi said that getting married was something she didn’t want, but Tai proposed to her anyway.
She said: “I think my turning point is engagement… that’s not what I want. I have expressed this to Ty, but Ty is a born athlete, she is a born winner. She is just used to getting what she wants This is what she wants. She has been pursuing what she wants.”
Then Mimi went on to explain that during her time in Scientology, she became more and more afraid of speaking for herself, which kept her into adulthood.
“No matter what happens, I will agree. I will speak for myself because I am afraid that if I speak, I may be kicked out. [of Scientology]. If I speak out, I will lose this situation. So my voice became very deep and lost, and it didn’t bother me until I was an adult,” she said.
When talking about her relationship with Ty, Mimi said that after Ty posted in her Instagram story about another woman she said was Mimi’s new boo, things between her and Ty were not friendly at this time. However, Mimi said that the other woman is a friend, just like Tai has a friend.
When asked if she and Ty will get back together, Mimi simply replied: “Life is fun.”
