Her record company Hillman Grad Records has established an exclusive joint venture with the legendary record company Def Jam, and she hopes to sign some of her own legendary works.
“As I get older and have more and more careers, I think people are really starting to accept the music choices in the movies or TV that I’m making, which is really important to me,” she says. “I don’t want to do typical things. We don’t release 10 albums a year. It’s about finding really interesting artists who have real motivation and the feeling of wanting to figure out who they are over time. We really do An artist who wants to grow up. I think people want artists to do the same thing again and again. I really miss an artist whose album changes with everyone. But I want to bring back some old atmosphere and nostalgia, and release a real single. “
