Kim Kardashian has been involved in various business areas, from reality shows to beauty, and more recently fashion! Kim’s shapewear collection has become more and more popular last year. In Monday’s announcement, Kim revealed that SKIMS is officially dressing U.S. Olympians!
In an Instagram post, Kim announced that athletes participating in the Tokyo U.S. Olympic team will wear SKIMS casual wear, underwear and pajamas. Accompanying the big news are photos of Olympians wearing comfortable SKIMS-style clothing with the words “Team USA” printed on them.
King talked about her inspiration behind this line, and she said it came from the Olympic Games she witnessed Caitlin Jenner’s participation in!
“Since I was 10 years old, I have heard every detail about the Olympics from my stepfather,” Jin wrote. “When I watch the athletes’ games, I will gradually understand the dedication and sense of honor that is embodied as part of the Olympics. I took my stepfather and my family to all the different cities to participate in Caitlyn Jenner’s Olympics For trials, Olympics and track and field competitions, I will buy an Olympic T-shirt as a souvenir at each stop.”
Kim yelled at some athletes who were wearing SKIMS costumes participating in the campaign, including Alex Morgan, Delilah Muhammad, A’ja Wilson, Scout Bassett, Haley Anderson, etc.
“When I received a call to invite Skims to be a member of @TeamUSA, I was admiring the strength and vitality of the Olympians from the sidelines at all times.”
Kim revealed that items in the series can also be purchased on the SKIMS website.
