Roommates, DaBaby’s recent comments on Rolling Loud caught people’s attention, and it looks like he has lost another place where he was going to perform.
DaBaby ranked first in the lineup of the Governor’s Ball, and the holiday released a statement on Monday, revealing that he will no longer be on stage. The statement includes an updated lineup flyer, which no longer lists DaBaby as a performer. The festival condemned the tolerance of any “hate or discrimination” and assured fans that another artist would join the lineup.
“Founders Entertainment will not and will not tolerate any form of hatred or discrimination,” the announcement read. “We welcome and celebrate the diverse community that makes New York City the greatest city in the world. Thank you fans who continue to speak out for the right things. Together with you, we will continue to make good use of our platform.”
As we previously reported, DaBaby has withdrawn from the other three festivals, even after commenting on HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ communities in the Rolling Loud setting last weekend, it even lost its cooperation with BoohooMAN.
He was also strongly opposed by several celebrities who accused him of homophobia and spreading misinformation about HIV. Dua Lipa worked with DaBaby in 2020 and she publicly opposed his comments, saying that she was “surprised and terrified” by his behavior.
Soon after, DaBaby on Instagram Explain that his gay fans are wobbly with him, and his words are just to hype the audience of Rolling Loud.
There has been no news of DaBaby since then, but we will inform you in time, roommates!
