Can Akbar V put her bid to the late and great Aretha Franklin one day?
Apparently Akbar was told that she looked like Aretha, so the Atlanta rapper wanted to know if the comparison between her and the Queen of Soul was true.
She took her Instagram page to share a side-by-side comparison between her and Aretha to gauge the opinions of fans.
“Have you all seen it,” Akbar wrote in her headline. “And they said she often cursed people like me.”
But Akbar may not have seen the room before sharing the photos, because fans are still cold about the Alexis Skyy drama that took place in May.
In case you need to remind, Akbar’s public approval rate is at its lowest point in history since then. She referred to Alexis Skye’s disabled toddler as a “brain disabled” And “sluggish”. Many fans thought that Akbar had crossed the line and she could not come back, and the comments still reflected this.
“Aressa is in class, and she dare not do half of the things you have done. There is no comparison,” a roommate wrote.

After that IG live broadcast, it seems that fans still don’t like Akbar.
Akbar V has apologized for what she said about the baby Alaiya.
“I want to apologize for my behavior a few weeks ago, no matter if I shouldn’t violate my character, I said something I shouldn’t say as a business woman, as a woman, I apologize for anyone I offended,” Ake Bar wrote in a statement on Instagram.
