Actor Charlie Robinson dies at the age of 75

according to Hollywood report, His representative confirmed that he passed away on Sunday at the Ronald Reagan University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center due to “a cardiac arrest due to septic shock and metastatic adenocarcinoma leading to multiple system organ failure.”

His career spans several decades, and he has starred in many movies and TV projects. He is known for his role in the 80s sitcom “Night Show”, which aired from 1984 to 1992. He continued to star in other projects such as “Set It Off”, “Antwone Fisher”, “The House Bunny”, etc.

Wendell Pierce, who starred with Robinson in the recent James Taylor drama “Some Old Blacks”, talked about his death and said: “It took only 27 days and we created a life. Charlie Robinson and I were during this pandemic. We isolate together and create a drama. In that short period of time, we have established a lifelong friendship. We portray a special bond in the drama, just like father and son. We have a mission.”

He went on to share a quote from Arthur Miller and added: “Charlie Robinson has joined this era tonight. Rest in peace, my 27-day friend.”

After the news of his death, other stars who expressed condolences included Viola Davis, David Allen Greer and Jackie Harry.

As we reported earlier, another famous actor who has recently passed away is Susan Douglas. Her family announced her death last week at the age of 64. The cause of her death was not disclosed, but like Robinson, she received love from fans and peers.
