For many people, getting the COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to return to normal life. However, some states have made the deal even sweeter by giving vaccinated residents the opportunity to win millions of dollars.

4 states provide lottery prizes for vaccinations

Can your vaccine win you big money? If you live in one of these four states, your vaccination card may be a golden ticket.

Maryland

Every day from May 25 to July 3, Maryland will randomly select a resident, and the vaccinated residents will receive a $40,000 bonus as part of the $2 million VaxCash promotion. On July 4, New York State will hold a $400,000 finals finale painting.

Anyone who is a resident of Maryland and who has received at least one dose of the vaccine in the state is eligible. No registration required. If you have been vaccinated, you are already eligible. If you are vaccinated during the competition, you will be in your ranks. Of course, the sooner you get a shot, the more chances you have to win.

The Maryland Department of Health will randomly assign a number to each vaccinated person over the age of 18 in the Maryland Lottery. The lottery will randomly draw a number within the range of numbers provided every day, but will not receive the name of the person who received the vaccine. The lottery then provides the winning numbers to the Maryland State Department of Health, and the Maryland State Department of Health will then notify each winner.

The Beaver State will also hold a prize draw of US$10,000 in each of the 36 counties in the state.
