Since joining Hi Pies at the beginning of this year, Willock has caused a sensation in Tyneside.

Newcastle United boss Bruce has promised that the club will make every effort to keep Arsenal’s loanee Joe Willock at St James’s Park.

Willock became the scoring set previously set by club legend Alan Shearer by scoring seven consecutive Magpies matches. Newcastle defeated Fulham 2-0 on Sunday.

But with his temporary contract expiring at the end of 2020-21, the Tenard must now try to persuade Arsenal to make his move permanent or lose him.

“I feel more happy for him. He did a great job.” Bruce said British Broadcasting Corporation After the final whistle.

“We will do our best to keep him, but we must respect him as an Arsenal player.”

Willock’s point of view

The player himself was also wary of the possibility of staying at St. James’s Park, and at the same time expressed his happiness with the record of matching Hillel’s caliber stars.

“I feel honored to be his company. Moreover, this excellent club has happened,” he said.

“He often sends me text messages to congratulate me, and I believe he will be happy for me.

“As we go through difficult times, we say we will be united and we are doing very well.

“We will see how the future develops. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to play for this excellent club and I am very happy that everything is going well.”
