Houston, May 19, 2021 / PRNewswire /-American Drilling Services Corporation (NASDAQ:U.S. Navy) (“USWS” or “Company”) today announced its proprietary CleanFleet® next-generation technology and unveiled its newly designed Nyx CleanFleet® fracturing pump. Nyx will use our patented PowerCube to drive two independently controlled electric motors and fracturing pumps to provide 6,000 horsepower (“HHP”) on a single trailer.Based on the supplier’s current price, US Well Services hopes that it can deliver Nyx CleanFleet®, including 10 pump trailers totaling 60,000 HHP, two agitators and a combined switchgear. The capital cost is approximately USD 23 million.
The independent dual pump concept provides the same degree of redundancy as a single motor unit, while significantly reducing the footprint of our wellsite. Nyx allows the company to shut down one pump or motor without affecting the continued operation of the second pump. For this innovative design, the company will continue to use the motor provided by AmeriMex, which has already provided the motor in our previous generation CleanFleet® technology.The system is designed to be powered by mobile generators, microgrid applications (such as our PowerPath)TM value Technology, not only can use public grid power, but also meet all relevant requirements. Nyx utilizes the cloud intelligence system of USWS Analytics to make operational decisions quickly and wisely, and continuously evaluate the health and service life of the equipment. These factors enable the company to use condition-based predictive maintenance plans and help reduce non-productive time to improve customer operational efficiency. The Nyx control system also provides automatic intelligent pump speed control based on continuous monitoring of equipment health.
