Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Chennai Super Kings on the very first day of the Indian Premier League 2022. The first match of this season’s IPL will see Kolkata and Chennai facing each other at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on March 26. The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings is expected to be an exciting one considering the high-profile franchises and rivalries these sides have shown in the past. Reportedly, the BCCI has also allowed 25 per cent of the capacity crowd after proper discussions with the state government.
Kolkata Knight Riders will play their last match of this stage on May 18 against one of the new teams of Indian Premier League, Lucknow Super Giants. This year the IPL will be a 10-team event making the league more exciting and stunning like never before .
