Virat Kohli has retained second place in the latest ICC ODI batsman rankings after hitting 116 in the three-match series against South Africa. Rohit Sharma remains third despite not participating in the South African series.
Kohli had 836 points in his kitty while Rohit had 801. Pakistan captain Babar Azam topped the list with 873 points.
South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen broke into the top ten after scoring 216 points in the series against India. Quinton de Cock, who played a century in the series against India, also moved up four places to take fifth. Captain Temba Bavuma moved up 21 places to 59th. Bavuma scored 153 points in three games, averaging 51 points.

In the bowling rankings, Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj have made huge leaps. Ngidi moved up four places to take 20th, taking five wickets at 31.40. India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar dropped four places to 22nd.
Among all-rounders, Andile Phehlukwayo, who topped the wicket table with six wickets in the ODI series against India, moved up three places to 15th.
Among the T20Is hitters, Dawid Malan slipped to 4th. Jos Buttler also slipped three spots out of the top 10. Adil Rashid moved up one place to tie for third with Adam Zampa.
Meanwhile, Moeen Ali’s narrow all-around performance in the second T20I against West Indies saw him move up four places in the T20I all-around rankings.
