Heather Knight has urged England to be aggressive and “pre-emptive” against Australia in the Women’s Ashes opening 20 on Thursday.
England enter the series as underdogs, with the hosts dominating women’s cricket, world No. 1 and T20 World Cup winners.
Meg Lanning’s side have not been beaten in any series since the 2013-14 Ashes, while the Cavaliers’ England last met with just one T20 win in 2019 despite the only Test match is a draw.
