Adam Scherr, formerly of WWE Braun Strowman, will travel to Dubai with his Free the Narrative team EC3.
Scherr and EC3 will compete in doubles on March 7 in Dubai.The competition is organized by United Wrestling Nation United Arab Emirates Known as “the largest wrestling event in the Middle East”. The company, along with Scherr and EC3 management, confirmed the news exclusively to CBS Sports.
Scherr made his first WWE post-wrestling appearance at the Free The Narrative II event at EC3. “Titan” Shear then teamed up with EC3 in the final showdown on December 11, the last event in the Ring of Honor before the company went out of business.
Scherr was released by WWE on June 2, 2021. His last match with the company was the Triple Threat WWE Championship at WWE Backlash. Scherr’s six-year roster in WWE has been very successful. He made his debut as a member of the Wyatt family and went on to win the WWE Global and Intercontinental Championship, as well as two chances to win the Raw Tag Team Championship. Other achievements include winning the Greatest Royal Rumble, the 2018 Bank Ladder Competition, and the 2019 Andre the Giant Memorial Royal Battle.
EC3 returned to WWE in 2018, using a gimmick that gave him a huge hit in Impact Wrestling. He won the 24/7 Championship four times before his release in April 2020 as part of WWE’s budget cuts. He then returned to Impact and then found a home in ROH and established his Free The Narrative campaign and brand.
