Captain Tom Latham rebounded from the shocking loss of Mount Maunganui on the opening day of Sunday’s second and final Test against Bangladesh, with a score of 349 to 1. Beat an unbeaten 186 shots.

Latham scored 148 points with another opener, Will Young, and then maintained a booming 201 with Devon Conway, cementing New Zealand’s position, which played in 99 games. China is still not out.
“The way Tom hits the ball, the sound of the ball hitting the bat is great,” New Zealand batting coach Luke Longe told reporters.
“Don’t go out and play for a whole day, and continue to play in Devon tomorrow…This is a great effort for both parties.”
