Momentus Inc. (NASDAQ stock code:Mobile communication system) (“Momentus” or “Company”), a US commercial aerospace company that plans to provide transportation and other space infrastructure services, today announced that President Fred Kennedy has resigned from the company, effective January 21.
“I have always been impressed by the professionalism and capabilities of the Momentus team, especially its engineering and operations staff,” said Dr. Fred Kennedy, President of Momentus. “Their commitment to the company’s vision is extraordinary. When I leave the company and leave the Bay Area with my family, I will follow the progress of the team and look forward to seeing them get on track and do some excellent work.”
Rob Schwarz, the company’s chief technology officer, will serve as the head of interim engineering and operations to support a seamless transition, while the company will hire additional executive leadership. CEO John Rood will also assume the role of president of the company.
