Indian star batsman Smriti Mandhana was nominated for the ICC Female Cricketer of the Year Award on Friday for his outstanding performance in all forms.
Mandhana was also nominated for the Women’s T20 Player of the Year Award on Thursday.
Mandhana was shortlisted for the highest award along with Tammy Beaumont from England, Lizelle Lee from South Africa and Gaby Lewis from Ireland. This award is awarded to the best performers in the 2021 Women’s International Cricket Competition (Test, ODI and T20Is). The winner will be announced on January 23.
The 25-year-old right-handed opening batter scored 855 points in 22 international matches this year with an average of 38.86 points and a century, five and a half centuries.

In the limited series against South Africa, India won only two of the eight home games, and Mandana played an important role in both wins. As India caught up with 158 points in the second ODI, she scored 80 points and didn’t get out, which helped it balance the series and scored 48 points in the final T20I victory without getting out.
Mandhana played 78 innings in the first game of a one-time test against England, but ended in a tie.
In India’s only victory in the ODI series, she scored an important score of 49 points. However, her 15 goals, 29 and 50 goals in the T20I series were missed because India failed to reach in both games and lost the series 1-2.
Mandhana performed well in the series against Australia. Starting from the ODI series, she scored 86 points in the second ODI game.
She achieved a brilliant century in the only test, this is the first time in her career, and was awarded the best player of the game. She scored the second T20I 50 goal of the year in the final game, even though India failed to reach and lost the series 2-0.

Mandhana broke her virgin century (127) with the longest game format, making India’s first ever pink ball test even more memorable. The game ended in a tie and Mandana was declared the best player of the game.
England’s Beaumont has become the highest base runner in 21 international games with an average of 48.44 872 runs and a century, eight and a half centuries.
In the multi-format series against India, she started for two and a half centuries in a row, the first was in the only test, and the second was the player who won in 87 games without getting out in the first ODI. She won her third and a half-century tour in the second T20I, even though it was a failed effort.
In the T20I series opener against New Zealand at home, she again won the game’s best player award, missing only a third of a century. She used a ton to help England win the ODI series with a score of 4-1.

South African Lee has scored 864 points in 19 international matches in a century, seven and a half centuries, with an average score of 57.6 points. She has been in a sensational white ball state throughout the year, especially in ODI. She completed the game as the highest base runner in 2021. She scored 632 points in 11 games and is the number one female ODI batsman in the ICC rankings.
Lee is in very good form in the ODI station of the India Tour. She scored 50 and 100 points in four games. South Africa won the series 4-1, and Lee won the best player of the series in 288 games. Then she scored a staggering 50 points in the second T20I game against India, helping her team to end the series in one game.
Ireland’s Lewis Lewis scored 624 points in 15 international games, with an average of 52 points, one century, four and a half centuries. She made history in the August ICC Women’s T20 World Cup European Qualifiers, when she became the first Irish woman to score the T20I century. The knock of 105 only scored 60 goals in the game against Germany.
