Roseville, Minnesota, December 30, 2021 (Global News Agency)-Hawkins Corporation (NASDAQ:Hanover), a leading specialty chemicals and ingredients company, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of NAPCO Chemical Company, Inc. and its affiliates (“NAPCO Chemical”).
As previously announced on December 6, 2021, NAPCO Chemical manufactures and distributes water treatment chemicals at three locations in Texas. Hawkins now has 37 water treatment sites serving 26 states.
“In the past two years, we have implemented a growth strategy to expand our water treatment business,” said Patrick H. Hawkins, Chief Executive Officer of Hawkins. “We mainly achieve this goal by targeting strong regional and local suppliers, and we believe these suppliers can become better within our organization. Through these acquisitions and organic expansion, we have added eight more in six new states. Home facilities-Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Southern Carolina and Ohio.”
