Hexagon Agility, a subsidiary of Hexagon Composites, has received SMARTSTORE™ mobile pipeline order® Units from the major heavy fleets in North America. The SMARTSTORE™ device will be used to refuel the growing number of clean and renewable natural gas (CNG/RNG) vehicles. The SMARTSTORE™ device is designed as a lightweight and space-saving gas transport module approved by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the U.S. Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
The estimated value of the contract is US$7.2 million (approximately NOK 64 million).
Hexagon Agility also received an RNG/CNG fuel system order from the same heavy-duty fleet customer, which will be delivered in 2022.
The total number of orders received so far in 2022 is estimated to be 32.1 million US dollars (approximately 285 million Norwegian kroner).
