“No face-to-face contact is required, so Covid safety is not a major issue,” Miller said.
How do you start using Shovler?

Minneapolis Shovler user Nathan Simondet joined the app in 2019 to earn extra cash.
“The main problem is that you only have jobs when it’s snowing, and you compete with other shit shovelers to take jobs before them,” Simodet said. “But work is usually easy.”
According to Simondet, a typical snow removal job takes 20 to 30 minutes, and if there is a lot of snow, more time is required.
“My last job only took five minutes,” Simodet said. “Only an inch of snow, all I have to do is on the sidewalk in front.” And because you are paid by work, not by time spent, faster work is indeed more valuable.
Snow shovelers bring their own equipment, including shovels, brushes, salt, and any snow removal tools they may need.
Investing in suitable snow removal equipment and equipment can also help increase profits.
“I did 70 jobs last year and made about $3,000,” Simon Day said. “I already had a snow shovel and a snow blower, but I ended up investing in a larger shovel to get the job done faster.”

Jayson Abro, a shit shoveling officer in the Northeast, said that this app allows you to easily earn extra money during the holidays.
Abro told The Penny Hoarder: “I made more money on Shovler in two days than I made in a month on Uber.”
Abro said that he can quickly find a job by simply opening the app after the heavy snowfall.
“We have a few big snowstorms every year, so I just logged in those days, saw hundreds of jobs, and passed those close jobs,” he said.
Like Simon Dette, Abro said he made approximately $3,000 using Shovler in the winter of 2020-21.
Another cool perk: Snowplows can keep all the tips they receive.
During the 2020 winter blizzard, Shovler reported that users tipped their shovel by an average of 44%.
All Shovler transactions are done through the app using credit card information. Shovel receives payment after the customer reviews the work or 13 hours later, whichever is earlier.
Stripe will transfer funds to your account every two to three business days.
How busy are you shoveling snow?
If you want Shovler to be a profitable job, it is wise to pay close attention to the local weather forecast.
The app is available everywhere in the United States and parts of Canada, but the snowy areas of the country attract more business.
In 2020, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Michigan are the busiest states in Shovler, as the amount of snowfall in the Northeast hit a record high. According to Miller, in a typical year, Minnesota, Colorado, Wisconsin and Illinois topped the list.
“Suburban and urban areas clearly have more employment opportunities than rural areas,” Miller said. “But as we expand, we continue to gain more employment opportunities in rural areas.”
If you live in the Pacific Northwest, this winter looks like an ideal time to join the snow removal service. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts that parts of the country will experience colder and wetter weather than average.
So far this year, snowplows in Minnesota and Wisconsin have seen demand for the service.
“In order to fill every job on the platform, we need shovel everywhere in North America-at least where it snows,” Miller said.
