Due to poor performance in the Arab Cup in Qatar, Sudan fired coach Hubert Wirud less than a month before participating in the African Cup of Nations.
The organization confirmed on Monday that the 62-year-old Frenchman was fired after the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Sudan Football Association on Sunday.
He will be replaced by Borhan Tia, who has been the club coach of the Sudan Premier League for the past ten years.
