Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman was confused and perplexed because of his Pakistan Super League (PSL) The Lahore Qalandars team decided not to keep it until the league’s next year’s draft starting in January next year.
Fajal was confused and dissatisfied because news confirmed that the PSL franchise chose to release some famous names from their team before PSL 2022, and he was one of them.
Although the explosive left-hander was Qalandas’ PSL best runner in 2021, he hit 287 times there with an average of 31.88 and a shooting rate of 121.09. In his response on Twitter, Fakhar Zaman strongly stated that he did not participate in the team’s discussion of reservations and was completely unaware that he was about to be released.

Fakhar did not find his place in any category of Qalandas reserved list. The cricketers lost to the platinum level Shaheen Afridi, Rashid Khan, David Wiese, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hafeez (all three diamonds) and Sohail Akhtar, Zeeshan Ashraf and Ahmed Danyal (all In the silver category).
But as Fakhar’s second tweet, he effectively told his fans “Wait a minute, stay patient”, It is suggested that the cricket player may play for Qalandars again. An ESPNcricinfo report on Friday (December 10) stated that Qalandas is likely to select Fakhar Zaman in the platinum-level lineup.
The PSL 2022 draft is scheduled to be held on Sunday (December 12), and the tournament begins on January 27 and lasts until February 27. But Fakhar Zaman’s problem does not seem to go well for the player and his fans. Media personnel and fans immediately stood up to support the left-handed and criticized the Qalandas team’s decision.
Here is their response:
Aik hi acha batsman tha Lahore ka wo bhi retain ni kiya. Allah’s Inky Administration hi hafiz hai https://t.co/WdEfdFEuWO

Don’t worry about the champion! As a fan of Qalandars, I can safely say that LQ is at a loss here, not you.

Fakhar Zaman may return to the Qalandars lineup through a new matching card system, which will be applied to the PSL draft process for the first time before next season.
In this way, the PSL franchise will be able to retrieve a released player by paying a specific fee based on the category. When using this card for platinum players, the team will have to give up 2.8 million Pakistani rupees. The diamond category is 1.75 million PKR, the gold category is 1.4 million PKR, the silver category and the emerging category are 8 and 450,000 PKR respectively.
