Cambridge, UK, December 7, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Velocix, a market-leading video streaming and advertising technology provider, announced that it has supported the expansion of Vodafone Deutschland’s GigaTV service as part of its multi-year agreement to open audio Video (AV) Pipeline software, including its carrier-grade CDN, origin server and video personalization platform.
Vodafone Deutschland provides pay TV services to more than 13 million subscribers and operates the largest cable TV network in Germany. The telecommunications giant is using Velocix’s latest software to expand its cloud-based TV platform GigaTV to multiple acquired video networks in Germany to unify its services under one brand.
