The Football Association confirmed on Monday that Gareth Southgate will extend his England contract to 2024.
The 51-year-old coach coached the Three Lions to reach the European Championship finals in the summer. He signed a two-year contract, extending his coaching time to eight years.
Southgate was a permanent member of the England team in November 2016 and has been leading one of the most talented teams in the country for many years.
After obtaining direct qualification this month, he will lead England to participate in the World Cup in Qatar next winter.
“We have a great opportunity in front of us. I know that they and the fans are excited about what this team can achieve in the future,” Southgate said.
