Former England Pacers Tim Bresnan apologized to Azim Rafik for his bullying allegations, but “categorically denied” any racist remarks made to his former Yorkshire teammates.
When Rafik addressed members of the British Parliament at the Digital, Culture, Media and Sports Committee (DCMS) on Tuesday, he detailed his experience of racism and discrimination at the club.
In his witness statement, the 30-year-old player stated that Bresnan “frequently made racist remarks” and claimed that he was one of “six or seven” other players because his actions bullied the pacemaker complaint.
