County cricket needs to adapt

County cricket must adapt. It cannot continue along the current path-economically troubled, into the wilderness. This article will try to put forward some solutions to the deficiencies of the current system and reveal the concerns of county-level game supporters.

The first is scheduling. Simply put, it’s a mess. It is unsustainable to squeeze 8 county championship rounds into the first week of April, May, and June. The growth of T20 combined with its popularity among supporters has allowed T20 Blast (especially the final day) to surpass the top 50 in terms of prestige and prestige. Moving more championship cricket games to the summer will negate this problem to some extent and help improve the quality of overseas players in county cricket matches.

So in the end it is the elephant in the room, a hundred people. Is there actually any benefit? no, it is not. It’s like The Blast, but it’s not a long-established team that has received enthusiastic support. We have an imaginary team that excludes most of the country based on crisp data packets.
