I live near a former kid’s store and have brought my children’s toys and clothes there many times. This is a great sales process. I went in, put things down, they checked it when I was shopping, and then, when I was ready to check out, they offered me a cash discount. I can take the cash or use it for new toys and clothes I want to buy.

Another good place to sell your favorite toys is Kid to Kid. Just prepare your items and bring them to the store, no appointment required. When you shop, the appraiser will check your equipment and then provide you with a cash discount. You can take cash, or you can choose to take 20% of the transaction value.

If there is no consignment store specializing in children’s products in your area, you can take your used toys anywhere thrift shop.
How to price second-hand toys
If you bring your child’s clothes to a consignment store like the one you used to be, you won’t be able to choose the selling price of your item. Instead, the store will give you an offer, which you can accept or decline. Although you won’t always make that much money along this route, it can save you time and energy.
However, if you want to make the most money by selling everything yourself, you need to know how to properly price second-hand toys. If you want to sell, you need to know the value of a toy so that you can compete with other sellers.
When trying to determine how to price second-hand items, consider the following:
- How long has the item been used?
