(Reuters)-According to local media reports, on Wednesday, a van carrying more than 25 migrant workers crashed in southern Texas about 90 miles (150 kilometers) from the U.S.-Mexico border, killing 10 people and Twelve people were injured.
The Texas Department of Public Safety could not be immediately reached for comment.
Brooks County Sheriff Urbino Martinez told MyRGVNews.com that after hitting the side of the road, the truck driving in Encino was top-heavy and overturned.
The sheriff said that the van was not involved in the hunt.
Martinez said the driver died on the spot.
