Tory Lanez caused a sensation when they performed their song with DaBaby on the Rolling Loud stage last weekend “Treasure.”
This collaboration alone brought drama to the two rappers, because Megan Thee Stallion seemed to have severed ties with Baby because of his collaboration with Tory, who was accused of shooting at her feet in July last year.
After their performance, DaBaby was criticized for his comments at another moment on the set. His audience voices are considered homophobic and insensitive to people living with HIV/AIDS.
As DaBaby experienced a huge impact, Tory started talking about cancellation culture on Twitter.
As DaBaby continues to face strong opposition for his words and deeds, Tory questioned when rap is politically correct on Wednesday, raising things to the next level.
“When did rap become so politically correct that you can’t say what you think and express your opinion… Why the fucking rap started?… Let’s say what we think. ….. Rappers are not always right, and you don’t have to agree. But they have the right to speak their minds,” Tory wrote on Twitter.
With Tori putting himself there, it allowed him to be criticized for his situation, including his public investigation of the Megan West stallion shooting.
A person said to him on Twitter: “When can the rapper shoot a girl in the foot?” Tory replied: “When do you have actual evidence to prove that I did this?? I will wait…”
