The number of rising stocks on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange exceeded the number of falling stocks ranging from 111 to 81, with 13 support being flat.
Alujain Corporation (SE:) stock price rose to a 5-year high; it rose 4.54% or 2.70 to 62.20.
Crude oil for September delivery rose 0.36% or 0.26 to US$71.91 per barrel. In other aspects of commodity trading, October Brent crude oil for delivery rose 0.31% or $0.23 to $73.75 per barrel, while the August gold futures contract fell 0.28% or $5.00 to $1,794.80 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR fell 0.19% to 4.4222, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The dollar index futures rose 0.26% to 92.672.
