TSR Updatez: Two men believed to be Haitian Americans were arrested in connection with the assassination of the President of Haiti and a group of suspected retired members of the Colombian army.

According to the charity’s profile page, Solages claimed that he had previously worked as a bodyguard at the Canadian Embassy in Haiti, but the Canadian Embassy did not immediately comment.

Witnesses told reporters that a group of people found two suspects in the bushes of Port-au-Prince on Thursday. Some of them grabbed their shirts and pants, pushed them, and occasionally slapped them.
According to an Associated Press reporter, the police arrested the two men. They were sweating profusely and wearing clothes that appeared to be covered in mud. The police placed the suspect in the back seat of a pickup truck and drove away when the crowd chased them to a nearby police station.
At the station, someone in the crowd chanted: “They killed the President! Give them to us. We are going to burn them!”
The crowd later set fire to several abandoned cars full of bullet holes. The cars are believed to belong to the suspects and they are white. According to the Associated Press, these cars do not have license plates, and one of the cars has an empty bullet box and some water in it.
The officials did not explain the motive of the assassination, only that the attack, condemned by the main opposition party in Haiti and the international community, was carried out by “a well-trained and heavily armed group.”
