(Reuters)- Tyson Foods The company (NYSE:) said in a statement late Saturday that it is recalling nearly 8.5 million pounds of frozen fully cooked chicken due to concerns about possible exposure to harmful bacteria.
The statement stated that these products were manufactured at a plant in Missouri between December 26, 2020 and April 13, 2021.
“Although there is no conclusive evidence that the product was contaminated at the time of shipment, out of prudent considerations, voluntary recalls are being initiated,” the American meat processor said.
