Westfall Technik, Inc. (“Westfall”, “the company”), a global holding company that provides superior manufacturing solutions for the production of plastic parts in the medical, packaging and consumer goods industries, today announced the acquisition of Carolina Precision Plastics, LLC (d/b /a “CPP Global” or “CPP”) and its wholly-owned subsidiaries.
This transaction greatly strengthens Westfall’s geographic footprint by adding its first factories in the southeastern United States (especially Moxville and Asheboro, North Carolina, and Kaiping, Guangdong Province, China). “This provides Westfall with a further supply chain advantage when servicing major customers in the packaging and healthcare sectors,” said Merritt Williams, the company’s chief commercial officer. “CPP’s North Carolina plant is strategically located to serve many brand owners who have manufacturing bases in the surrounding area.”
CPP operates approximately 100 injection molding machines in its three facilities and also brings expertise in important secondary services such as high-volume, fully automated assembly and complex decoration capabilities. CPP’s three factories occupies a total of approximately 335,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
