Raj is the first female cricket player and the second female cricket player who has completed 22 years in international cricket competition after legend Sachin Tendulkar.
Mithali made his international debut on June 26, 1999. As a result, she completed 22 years of international cricket when she played in the Indian women’s game against England on Sunday. In international cricket matches, only Tendulkar (22 years, 91 days) has a longer career than Mithali.
Mithali celebrated the occasion by scoring 72 in the first ODI in Bristol, although India continued to lose the game with eight wickets.
